CONCEALED PIPING

  How can I hide my water pipes? Concealing the pipes and the wires of your home into the wall keeps the look and finish of your home intact. Let’s understand the right way to conceal the piping in the walls of your home. First, mark the tracks of the pipe outlets, such as tap, showers and wash-basin onto your wall with spirit level. Ensure that the drinking- water pipe and drainage pipe do not overlap. Then cut the marked area with the help of a dish blade. See to it that depth should be 4-6 mm more than the thickness of the pipes. Ensure that you don’t cut any column or beam of your home in the process. Use a spade to make grooves in the marked area. If the wall is a load-bearing wall make sure to not shatter the whole marked area in one go. Fit the pipes in the grooves with the help of nails fill with the gap between the pipes and the wall with cement and sand mortar and use a steel mesh to avoid cracks in the wall.
