PROBLEM IN PLASTERING
 
  What are the defects in plastering? It is seen often that plastered surfaces developed cracks and white patches, which affects the aesthetic of the building. This video help in identifying some of the problems in plastering causes and preventive measures. Crazing cracks are the network of find crack, having hexagonal Pattern. These are shallow and do not extend to the hole depth of the plaster. Map cracking is also similar to crazing cracks but usually deeper. These are cause due to over travelling of rich mortar mix using the sand having high  silt content rapid drying of plastered surface and adequate curing. These crack can be avoided by using well graded sand not using pure cement as finishing coat not overworking the cement finishes and providing adequate curing for minimum of 10 days.
